Summary
Siege of Sydney street: in 1911 a standoff is sparked between Russian anarchists and police. The frightened man: a furniture-antique shop owner earns cash from handling stolen goods to send his son to Oxford, but the son gets thrown out, returns to his father, and gets involved with bad guys. Crimes at the dark house: a madman kills the recipient of an inheritance to gain his estate, but not everyone believes he is the rightful heir. The hooded terror: a multimillionaire stamp collector is actually the head of the country's most notorious organized crime ring, and an amateur endeavors to track him down.
