Summary
Angelina D'Angelo suddenly finds herself facing a life without her beloved husband. One night she makes her way down to the kitchen and pours all of her grief and anger into the her passion for cooking. With more food than she can possibly eat, Angelina delivers the results of her marathon to the neighbors in her South Philly community. Retiree Basil Cupertino, who has just moved in with his sister across the street, is positively delighted with Angelina's food and offers her a job cooking for him--two meals a day, six days a week. Soon, word of Angelina's extraordinary culinary prowess spreads, and Angelina finds herself cooking for seven bachelors, while discovering the magical power of food to heal, to bring people together--and maybe even to present second chances
