Summary

A plane crash puts an end to the sufferings of three ill-fated passengers, Binky Gay (Winter), Dr. Fortness (Rennie), and Eddie Hoke (Wynn), but leads to a second chance for a fourth, Trask (Merrill), a lawyer who believes his wife no longer loves him. Airline officials prepare to inform the loves ones of those killed, but Trask asks to be allowed to carry the news to the families of Gay, Fortness, and Hoke himself. While visiting the bedridden widow Marie Hoke (Davis), Trask tells her about his marital problems and Marie guides the survivor on a jouney to understanding
