Summary
Rainbows appearing after a storm are a symbol of hope after difficult times. As such, rainbows were adopted as a symbol of hope during the COVID pandemic. In England pictures of rainbows sprang up in windows after schools closed in response to the coronavirus outbreak. In this story a little girl, who misses her grandma, friends, and school, makes a rainbow to display in her window to give others hope. The book reflects the power of creativity, joy, and community.
