Summary
Teenie, a seven-year-old girl, is abandoned in the rain outside a Glasgow pub while her father gets drunk. Alone, vulnerable, and standing in the rain, we follow her misadventures as she falls prey to a drunken old man, a stray dog, and two bullying older boys, before being temporarily rescued by a local shopkeeper. A bittersweet rites-of-passage tale, DADDY'S GIRL poignantly makes us aware of the struggle of many today's children. Nominated for the Palme d'Or for Short FIlm and Winner of the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the **Cannes Film Festival.**
