Summary
In this bold, stunning film, 12-year-old Adar and her stepfather push their role-playing games into dangerous territory while her workaholic mother is away from home. As Adar attempts to delicately maneuver between the tempestuous and fiery relationships at home, she meets Alan -- a dreamy boy who keenly resembles her -- and brings him into the family. Alan leads Adar through a dark journey between childhood and adolescence, reality and fantasy, which will forever change the rules of the game in the household. Nominated for the Grand Jury Prize in World Cinema - Dramatic at **Sundance Film Festival** Winner of Best Israeli Feature, Best Music, and Best Cinematography at the **Jerusalem Film Festival** *"A remarkable achievement in so many ways." - **The Hollywood Reporter*** *"Observing an unspeakable crime through a dreamy haze of adolescent confusion, the Israeli drama "Princess" turns a loving family home into an incubator of sexual curiosity." - Jeannette Catsoulis, **The New York Times***
