Summary
One of the most lauded young talents in American fashion today is Zac Posen. Recognized for his love of tailoring, attention to detail, and appreciation of the history of fashion and couture Zac appeals to hip young downtown girls and their sexy, sophisticated mothers. After stints at Nicole Miller, Tocca and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and an education at the prestigious Central St Martins College in London, the young designer exhibited what would become his trademark bravado and ambition and, in 2002 at the age of 21, put on a show in a synagogue on New York's Lower East Side. In 2004 Posen not only received the Perry Ellis Award for Womenswear but also took on a partner Sean "P Diddy" Combs. Since then he has turned his label into a mustwear for celebrities, models and the international "It-Girls" with whom he surrounds himself
