Summary
In this sequel to her first memoir, The Bread of Angels, American writer and journalist Stephanie Saldaña meets her future husband when he is a novice monk at the interfaith monastery of Deir Mar Musa in Syria. He leaves the monastery, they marry and live in France, and then move into a former convent in Jerusalem, where their first child is born
