Summary
Carly Westin is a struggling caterer who can't refuse her friend's last-minute request to help impress a new man with a romantic, home-cooked dinner. As she quietly prepares the couple's meal in the kitchen, a knock at the door is followed by gunshots with the couple being murdered in cold blood. Unseen by the killer, Carly tells investigator Jack Brannigan that Chester Winnifield, a hot TV personality shot the couple. When the smooth-talking Winnifield reveals a convincing alibi, it's Carly who's in hot water, and Brannigan who must determine who's telling the truth
