Summary
Based on a true story, it explores the forbidden passion that transcends the social classes of 1800's Scotland, a time when the working class could not rise above their station. As Master Alfred Sinclair of Stratton Castle lays on his deathbed, his son makes one final promise to take over the lands and find a status-appropriate wife.
